5 Best Places to Eat in Boston
Michael went to school in Boston, and, even though I had to take a twelve hour bus ride to visit him, our weekends in Boston were the best. There was always fun stuff going on. If you’ve visited our blog before, then you know that me and Michael love trying new foods! Here are five of our favorite spots that we have gone to eat in Boston (plus two bonus tips at the end that we had to include). 1. Yamato II If you are HUNGRY and looking for a place to eat a lot in Boston for a reasonable price, go to Yamato II. This cozy sit-down buffet style…

5 Tips to Have the Best Fondue Date at the Melting Pot
If you haven’t already guessed by now, Kristen and I are huge fans of food. We love trying new things, and we love spending time together. So, we have had a lot of great dinner dates. Some of our favorites have been at the best fondue restaurant we’ve ever visited (not that we’ve seen many others!), the Melting Pot. Kristen and I discovered the Melting Pot our senior year of high school. Kristen had found the greatest prom dress ever for $40 at Windsor, and she was dying for another chance to wear it (or maybe I needed an excuse to see her in it again). So, I set out…

BONDING OVER BOOKS AT BARNES
One of Our Favorite Date Spots One of our favorite places to spend a quiet afternoon is Barnes and Noble (or any book store). We have always had a lot more fun than we would sitting in a movie theater. Michael and I have always enjoyed walking around the book store together, looking at trinkets, and crafts, and all of the different books. I’ve always loved books on crafting, especially knitting and crocheting, pretty journals, and books that follow the story of a seemingly mundane yet surprisingly unique main character. (one of my favorites ) Michael, on the other hand, likes to make it through books that are considered classics…

REACHING OUR GOALS WHILE HATCHING EGGS AND COMPLETING QUESTS
We all have lots of great ideas and goals that we don’t always keep up with. Michael and I have tried a LOT of ways to hold ourselves accountable, but nothing ever really stuck. Right now we are planning a wedding, working, finishing grad school, deciding where to buy a home, and following business ideas. This is all on top of doing all of the other things that you do as a young couple. Sometimes it feels like everything is too hard to manage. We don’t always find the time for the things that excite us the most. Also, Michael and I love finding ways to interconnect our lives. Especially…

CAPTURING A MOMENT OF JOY SHOULDN’T RUIN THE JOY OF THE MOMENT.
Out of all of the apple trees, we needed to find the cutest one. The perfect size, with just the right amount of sunshine. I had on a new outfit and it was a beautiful day. Because I was feeling so happy, I could not wait to capture that joy in an image to share and save. I think I was a little more excited to take the picture, but it was Michael’s idea to do the dip (he secretly loves posing our pictures together). So after planning out our pose and setting up my phone on the ground leaning against our bag, timer camera ready, we got to work.…
