Moving Update: Michael is in Miami!
We closed on our condo! Earlier this week, Michael flew to Miami to finish all of our paperwork for our condo. After months of work, we are officially homeowners! As I type this, I am on a video call with Michael. He is in Miami, and I am in New York. He is in the living room of our condo showing me the view out of our window. It feels so surreal that this has actually happened. How We Got Here I don’t want to be too repetitive because we have shared a lot about this journey so far. However, the last time we talked about our move, we had…

8 Most Important Lessons That We Have Learned About Real Estate
1. Do A LOT of Research Michael and I spent so much time doing research before we even got a real estate agent. At times, this drove me crazy, and there were moments where it felt unnecessary. However, it definitely wasn’t. We spent weeks researching every town near the beach up and down the East Coast. Once we narrowed our search down to a few towns (St. Augustine and some small beach towns on the coast of the Carolinas were at the top of our list) we started looking at homes and properties. We figured out prices in the area and what our options were. We considered buying a house…

What’s Going On With More Than Friends?
I have always really enjoyed sharing my life through social media. In middle school, I posted about fashion and makeup. In high school and college, I started practicing yoga, and it was life changing. I started posting all about my yoga journey on Instagram. Since meeting Michael, he has had a bigger impact on my life than anything else ever has. Michael has supported me as I have gained confidence and learned what it is that I want out of life. I feel so incredibly happy with my life and what I imagine my future life looking like. Without Michael, I don’t know if I would feel the same happiness…

How To Bond Over Choosing Your Top Baby Names With Your Partner
Michael and I have both always known we would want a whole bunch of kids one day. We have had a running note in our phones of baby name inspo since high school, and we have definitely had our fair share of disagreements on names. Here is a sneak peak into how we have come up with a really awesome list of baby names. 1. Keep A Running Note In Your Phone Sometimes, when not much is going on, Michael and I will look over our running note of baby names. I’ve had our list on my phone since high school. I copy and paste it into a message and…

5 Best Places to Eat in Boston
Michael went to school in Boston, and, even though I had to take a twelve hour bus ride to visit him, our weekends in Boston were the best. There was always fun stuff going on. If you’ve visited our blog before, then you know that me and Michael love trying new foods! Here are five of our favorite spots that we have gone to eat in Boston (plus two bonus tips at the end that we had to include). 1. Yamato II If you are HUNGRY and looking for a place to eat a lot in Boston for a reasonable price, go to Yamato II. This cozy sit-down buffet style…

Planning Our Future-versary Party
Since we have gotten engaged, I have been so excited to plan my perfect wedding. At times I’ve felt like Michael didn’t really have much of an opinion on some of the seemingly big and exciting decisions we were making. So, when he texted me about our future-versary party and how awesome it was going to be, I was excited and also very confused. What I now know is that a future-versary is a future anniversary. Because we are getting married on April 15th, 2023, April 15th, 2022, is our future-versary. Our future-versary requires a big party with all of our closest friends, the best pizza we can find, lots…

5 Tips to Have the Best Fondue Date at the Melting Pot
If you haven’t already guessed by now, Kristen and I are huge fans of food. We love trying new things, and we love spending time together. So, we have had a lot of great dinner dates. Some of our favorites have been at the best fondue restaurant we’ve ever visited (not that we’ve seen many others!), the Melting Pot. Kristen and I discovered the Melting Pot our senior year of high school. Kristen had found the greatest prom dress ever for $40 at Windsor, and she was dying for another chance to wear it (or maybe I needed an excuse to see her in it again). So, I set out…

How We Are Dealing With Our Stressful Miami Real Estate Experience
Wow, Miami real estate is a crazy experience. Me and Michael are buying our first home right now, and it has definitely not been easy. We have been sharing about our experience in our Miami posts because we are moving from New York to Miami. A lot has happened since our last trip to Miami, so we thought we would give you all an update about our story, what we have been learning, and how we have been dealing with the stress that comes with buying a home (especially in such a crazy market). A Little Bit Of Backstory Collin and I met in college when we were randomly paired…

Making Your Perfect Wedding Registry
Michael’s Grandma asked for our registry just one month after we got engaged. She wanted to get us an engagement gift! We didn’t really realize this was a thing, and we hadn’t thought about making a registry at all. Now that we knew, we were really excited! We love cooking together, and we cannot wait to host guests in our first home. Our wedding registry would be the perfect time to stock up on unique cooking gadgets and anything we might want to be a great host to our friends and family when they visit. I honestly had no idea what to put on the registry. Do you ask your…

Letters on Love #3
This is my third letter, and I feel like with each one, my thoughts have gotten a little more controversial. This post isn’t about anything too crazy, however I am sure people will disagree with me, especially at first glance. Last week I shared a poll on my Instagram story asking if people agreed or disagreed with a post I had seen. It was shared by the account @/relationshipquotes777. It was a post that listed some things that people were doing wrong in relationships. One of the tips that they shared I really did not agree with. I assumed that most people did agree with their point though, so I…
