Our Gatsby New Year’s Eve in Hoboken

Whenever New Years Eve rolls around, I hear my family and friends discussing a mess of possible plans. I always enjoyed that my family threw a party because I wasn’t worried about planning. Michael’s family usually does something smaller too. New Years has just never been a big thing for us. Fun fact: Michael watched the ball drop in NYC one year on New Year’s Eve. GIFT GIVING GUIDE

I have always had to really be on my game when it comes to getting Michael gifts, because he is definitely the best gift giver in the world. However, this year we have also decided to start creating our own traditions totally separate from anything we have done with our families in the past. This has been so exciting for me! It makes me feel like we have really become our own little family of two. Ordering Our First…

    OUR FIRST THANKSGIVING

Good morning, happy Thanksgiving! Me and Michael are currently sitting in the back of his moms 6 seat car, which is packed with 7 people, 1 dog, and a whole bunch of food. This is our first Thanksgiving that we are spending together. We spent last night out with friends and got in pretty late. It’s still extra exciting going out to the bars because I still see people I haven’t seen since before the engagement. People love to see my ring and meet Michael. We are only 22 years old, and I grew up in a pretty close knit town, so people definitely can’t wait to meet him and…
